At the end of the first year DEMASK published the first policy brief.
This brief is to inform stakeholders on the project and present the challenges in this field.

Stakeholder Engagement Plan

DEMASK and Saturn organized a joint workshop on the acoustic metrics for continuous underwater noise.

The DEMASK project addresses the need to forecast and assess potential future effects of noise pollution in the North Sea, as well as to develop tools for its mitigation. JASCO Applied Sciences (JASCO) is tasked with evaluating the acoustic energy budget of the North Sea and developing a scoring system for ranking anthropogenic noise sources.
