What are we working on?
The Mobility Makers project is aimed at increasing the share of sustainable mobility, with a special focus on intermediate and rural regions. By implementing 11 pilot projects in specific contexts, we aim to identify general patterns that reveal what works where (and what does not). To support this, a mobility framework was developed to clearly define the mobility context in which each pilot operates, enabling accurate monitoring of the impact of interventions. The results of our pilots are intended as non-exhaustive examples of interventions that cities or municipalities may consider when exploring mobility improvements in similar environments. By applying the framework, a high degree of reliability is ensured, allowing the potential impact of proposed interventions to be assessed in advance.
