Best Practice Sotenäs - School Concept

Sotenäs Municipality has long recognised the need for a clearer link between education and the business sector, as well as better opportunities for our young people to learn about the unique culture, environment, and identity of Sotenäs. Our ambition is clear: we want our youth to feel connected to this place—and to return after completing their studies.

To achieve this, we are now bringing together a broad group of new Multi-Helix actors. Schools, innovation projects, academia, companies, civil society organisations, and local institutions all contribute with their own expertise. Together, they form a collaborative platform that supports learning, strengthens local engagement, and showcases the wealth of initiatives already thriving in Sotenäs.

This joint effort not only enhances local development but also ensures that our young residents gain insight into the opportunities within the municipality. By connecting classrooms with real-world experience and local knowledge, we are building stronger foundations for the future—and a community that grows through cooperation.
