From October 1st to 3rd, partners from across Europe gathered in Lille for a productive and inspiring meeting dedicated to advancing sustainable mobility.
The event opened with the screening of a film created by the French partners Communauté de Communes du Pays de Lumbres (CCPL) and Cerema Hauts-de-France, which was warmly received by the participants. The film is now available on YouTube, offering wider audiences the chance to explore its insights.
Over the following days, all pilot projects were presented and thoroughly reviewed in an interactive peer-to-peer setting. Discussions focused strongly on the coherence between actions and objectives, the use of indicators to track progress, and the overall impact on sustainable mobility. This in-depth exchange allowed partners to critically reflect on their approaches while learning from each other’s experiences.
The meeting was more than an evaluation exercise—it was an enriching opportunity to connect practice with strategy. The open dialogue and constructive feedback highlighted the added value of European cooperation in tackling shared challenges.
On Thursday, the group also visited the Maison des Mobilités Durable in Lille, where they could see first-hand how sustainable mobility is promoted and facilitated in the region.
The Lille partner meeting left participants motivated and better equipped to strengthen their projects, with renewed energy to work towards greener, more coherent mobility solutions across Europe.
