Screening and Partners Debate in October 2025

On 1–2 October 2025, Cerema hosted the Mobility Makers meeting, bringing together all project partners and the French representatives of the Interreg North Sea programme and some elected people and technicians from local authorities in Hauts-de-France region. The event featured the screening of the documentary “Rural mobility: A trip in Pays de Lumbres rural area” by Nathaël Rusch, produced within the Mobility Makers framework, followed by a lively panel discussion.

Key outcomes and partner contributions

The screening prompted recorded post-projection reactions from elected officials of the three French partner communities involved in Mobility Makers: Communauté de Communes du Pays de Lumbres, Communauté de Communes de la Terre des 2 Caps, and Communauté de Communes Desvres-Samer.
Each representative presented their territory and outlined their institution’s contribution to the project, notably describing their local pilot initiatives supporting rural mobility.
