SMALL SCALE PROJECT

​​​​​​​Shore power should become much more of a common good in inland shipping than it currently is already. Shore power is a small but vital part of the entire greening process of the sector, but it can certainly contribute in terms oreducing the emission of GHGs, noise and other polluants. Several initiatives have been taken on a regional level, generally following the lead of the local major sea ports. This project has the ambition to bring together these local initiatives across the NSR area, compare results and standards, share awareness of new technologies or products and deploy innovative concepts (TRL 4-6) in pilots.
