Main content

Large parts of the North Sea Region is fertile land, much of which is used for intensive farming which is highly productive but has negative impacts on the climate and the environment. Farming is itself threatened by declining soil fertility, climate change, and energy and water shortages.

Our  projects promote long-term productive, eco-friendly and climate-smart farming and food systems. As such they contribute to the European Farm to Fork strategy, a core part of the EU Green Deal.
