An external evaluation of the Interreg North Sea Region 2021-2027 programme will be carried out over the next three years.
The evaluation contains two parts:
- A midterm impact evaluation will be conducted from October 2025 to September 2026 (12 months)
The aim of the midterm impact evaluation is to review the impact of the programme roughly halfway into programme implementation and to provide evidence-based lessons learned for the next programming period. - A final impact evaluation will be conducted from September 2028 – to June 2029 (10 months)
The final impact evaluation will map, conceptualise and analyse the main achievements and impact of the programme from the beginning to the end of the programme period.
An evaluation report will be provided with an executive summary highligting the results of the evaluation.
