Seasons Greetings from the Joint Secretariat

2025 marked by projects, partnerships, and progress

We began the year by welcoming some special guests to the Joint Secretariat: three new National Contact Points. This was followed by a TakeUP  event in Copenhagen at the end of January. In February, we said goodbye to our Interreg Youth Volunteer, Mariana Dominte dedicated to the stakeholder consulatation process and our intern David Rathkjen. We then turned our attention to preparations for the spring Monitoring Committee meeting in Lille.

The summer spirit was captured in Oldenburg at the 2025 North Sea Conference, followed by the close of Call 5, with 12 projects receiving additional funding to boost Norwegian involvement. Before we knew it, it was time for the autumn Monitoring Committee meeting in Caen. Throughout the year, we also hosted numerous online events, including four themed roundtables and a special session on storytelling.

Preparing for an exciting 2026

With all of this behind us, we now take the opportunity to reset, recharge, and gear up for the year ahead.

Until then, we wish everyone a restful holiday season and a wonderful start to the new year.
