Creation of a value chain for windows & windows frame recycling

The goal of the project is to promote professional and social integration through the creation of a new channel for the recovery of windows and windows frames.

Studies show that it is possible to achieve a recovery of at least 70% of a window, depending on the dismantling process. The ecological transition does not only create opportunities for engineers and highly qualified technicians. It gives access to new low-skilled jobs that need to be enhanced. In this perspective, we aim to:

- create a new waste recovery local system for windows and windows frame

- create a good practice model on the creation of a recovery system

- further develop awareness on solidarity-based re-use of “waste”

- develop professional and social integration by hiring low-skilled profiles.

We are looking for partners in waste collection & recycling including regional authorities, cities, communities, NGO.
